At "Speak Italian For Fun", we are dedicated to bringing the beauty of the Italian language and culture to Lake County. Our teachers create an engaging and supportive environment where learning is always an enjoyable experience. We believe that learning a new language should be a journey filled with discovery, laughter, and connection.
A unique and fun approach
Our classes are scheduled for ten-week semesters and groups usually are 10-14 students per class. We offer a weeknight series or weekend series, for Beginners, Beginners Two and Conversation Classes. All ages are welcomed, and we do offer in-person classes as well as seasonal Zoom online classes as well. Whether you're a beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, our classes offer a flexible and enriching experience. Our students say that they enjoy this "non-academic" style of learning Italian.

Group classes
Beginner Italian - Starting at $20/session-10 week course
Learn fundamental Italian phrases, greetings, and basic grammar in a relaxed group setting. Perfect for those new to the language. We use a workbook and handouts, with apps, and other online tools.
Intermediate Italian - Starting at $20/session-10 week course
Expand your vocabulary and conversational skills with more complex sentence structures. In-depth work on verb conjugation and grammar skills.
Advanced conversation - Starting at $20/session-10 week course
Engage in lively discussions and deepen your understanding of Italian nuances with native-level conversation practice.
Italian cooking Classes - Starting at $30/class
Combine language learning with hands-on cooking experiences, exploring regional Italian cuisine and traditions.
Explore Your Italian Ancestry 101 - Starting at $150/workshop
This 4 hour workshop is held twice a year and is for those who have Italian Ancestry and would like to know more about their family ties to "La Madre Terra". Handouts with many online tools will be provided and utilized during the workshop and follow up with a consultant is available for a fee as well.

We partner with a vibrant community where language learning extends into real-Italian world experiences. Ask us about where you can travel and serve at a Church, a Farm-Stay or other opportunities. We are well connected with the Evangelical Church Community all over Italy and can arrange your Serve-Vacation.
